I don’t like short trips, especially if it’s my first time to go to a particular place. Places and people are the same: time is necessary to form a true connection, and that process shouldn’t be hurried.

My roots may remain firmly entrenched in Swedish soil, but I have not had a proper home for many years and I moved around constantly for most of my life before that. One of many upsides of this is that I don’t need much to feel at home, and I am quite content on the road. I enjoy exploring and getting to know new people, cultures, foods, landscapes, floras and faunas, and I enjoy taking my time doing so. My map still has many big, blank spaces, but I intend to work on that in the years and decades to come.
